Join in the fun and fellowship of the SFHS Boosters Club, as we support and celebrate our Troubie athletes and teams. We begin with a social gathering at 5:45 p.m. and a call to order at 6:00 p.m. Meet some amazing SFHS families, and get up-to-date information about our athletic programs. We are planning for 22-23 and preparing to elect new Board Members into open positions.

Rise Against Hunger

On Saturday, April 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., families can join a Rise Against Hunger meal packaging experience with Natomas Cares. Students can sign up to earn service hours. While this event does not qualify for parent service hours, it is a family-friendly event. Please see the attached flyer to learn how you can help.

President Search Update
Letter from Bishop Soto

St. Francis is excited to share an update on the search for a president. Bishop Soto has appointed a President Search Committee that will be identifying the next President of St. Francis Catholic High School. The St. Francis Board of Trustees has engaged Partners in Mission to do a broad national search to identify and contact individuals with the potential to be St. Francis’ next President. They are tasked to develop a sizable pool of highly qualified and diverse candidates for this critical position. Bishop Soto has shared a letter detailing this process.

Workshop Overview 

This workshop will help students better understand the ‘study cycle’ and how to improve and organize their learning throughout a course of study. Students will leave with researched based tools to help maximize their academic performance with a focus on active study techniques such as self testing, distributive practice, and interleaving of concepts. Please join us for this practical and informative workshop!

Something AMAZING is HERE!

Serra Court has been transformed into a performance space for our Spring Musical and we’re overjoyed to present JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT.

Performances are at 7:00 p.m. March  25 and 26 and 2:00 p.m. on March 26. 

A food truck will be present prior to the performances so come early to purchase refreshments before the show!

Congratulations to our TWO Valedictorians!

Congratulations are in order for these incredible Troubie women!

For the first time in several years, St. Francis will have TWO valedictorians, with seniors Abigail Connelly and Oge Okoye earning the honor.

We are so incredibly proud of each of these Troubies and can’t wait to celebrate them and the class of 2022 at graduation on May 19th!

Love Lock for Your Loved One(s)! 

Canticle Garden

Honor your special Troubie, and leave her mark on the St. Francis campus with one of our newer traditions - Love Locks! Hung in our beautiful Canticle Garden, this will be a lasting display and reminder of her impact on this campus.

Place your order by April 1 to be included in a special hanging ceremony.

The cost is $125 per Love Lock, which includes a key and custom engraving.

Graduation 2022

We are so excited to hold this year’s 2022 Commencement Ceremony on May 19th at 3:00 pm, in the newly renovated Memorial Auditorium.

Each family will be allowed 10 tickets to attend Graduation.*

*The number of tickets are subject to change in accordance with Sacramento County and Memorial Auditorium.

Show Choir Auditions for 2022-2023 School Year

Show Choir auditions for the 2022-2023 school year will take place in the dance room on Wednesday, February 23rd from 4:00-5:00 p.m.  

Dress for dance. A song and dance selection will be taught. Also,  prepare a short, a cappella vocal selection in a musical theater or pop style.

Athletic News – 2/11/22

The playoff season is underway for our winter Troubie teams. Varsity soccer earned the No. 3 seed of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I tournament and will host Monterey Trail on Friday night (February 11) at 6:00 p.m. If SF wins, the second-round game will be on Wednesday, February 16 against the winner of the Enochs-Lincoln game. Meanwhile, basketball wraps up the regular season on Friday and will learn of its section playoff pairing early next week. Stay tuned to GoTroubies.com for updates.

2022 Girls State Competition

Hello Junior Parents,

The American Legion is looking for a current SFHS junior to participate in their 2022 Virtual California Girls State competition this June/July.  While St. Francis High School does not sponsor this event, we do partner with the American Legion to select one qualified candidate to represent the district.

Message from the Principal – 12/15/21

Dear St. Francis Families,

With an increase in COVID-19 infection rates, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), is requiring all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face coverings when indoors at public settings. The new mask mandate went into effect today, Wednesday, December 15th 2021 and last through Saturday, January 15th, 2022.
