Dear Parents and Friends of St. Francis High School,
Several years ago, Jim Collins wrote a carefully researched book called Good to Great, an insightful analysis of what catapultsand sustainsbusinesses to above-average success. Even if one never read the contents of the book, the title alone inspires one to think beyond the mediocre.
The culture of St. Francis could be a chapter in that book: it is all about excellence. Good is just not enough, and summers here are the time for preparing for another great academic year. Summer school students are honing their skills; faculty and staff are refreshing and renewing body and soul; and the campus itself is being revitalized.
By the time students return from their own summer rejuvenation, the Campus Life Center wing will be another remarkable achievement, with three permanent classrooms renovated for better learning, newly designed offices to serve Campus Ministry, and a beautifuland comfortablecenter for students to gather.
Another “good to great” in the life of St. Francis High School.
