Track and Field Defeats Davis in Dual

CARMICHAEL, Calif. – The St. Francis track and field team defeated Davis 75-60 on Wednesday. The Troubadours recorded several season-best performances in the meet. Senior Meaghan Rogers had personal bests in both the 100 meters (12.49) and 200 meters (26.00), finishing second and third respectively.

Kathryn Kramer and Amanda Roina were the top finishers in the 400m, placing third and fifth. Each recorded a personal-best. Alana Reyna was the top finisher in the 1600 with a personal-best time of 5:33.55.

Senior Elizabeth Hennessy set a PR in the 300m hurdles, clocking a time of 45.28 to win the race, while she was second in the 100m hurdles in 15.98, a season-best time.

Kaitlyn Hendrickson won the shot put in 26-9 and placed second in the discus with a throw of 77-3. Kramer won the high jump with a PR of 5-2. Olivia Birmingham was second in the varsity pole vault with a 9-0 clearance. Rogers was second in the long jump with a leap of 16-4.

St. Francis will be represented by a strong contingent at the Stanford Invitational this weekend.
