2015 Lacrosse Highlights

News
  • St. Francis finished the season with a 7-10 overall record and 4-6 overall in the Sacramento Valley Lacrosse League (fourth). The Troubadours finished the season ranked No. 20 in the North Coast Section and No. 7 in Division I by LaxPower.
  • St. Francis placed six players on the Sacramento Valley Lacrosse Conference All-League team, including first-team selections Ryleigh Bone for the second consecutive season.
  • Bone, who is from Granite Bay, was second on the team with 35 goals, nine assists and 44 points. She scored in 13 of 17 contests played and recorded two or more goals in 10 games. She notched a season-best five goals two times (Palo Alto, Oak Ridge). She signed to play lacrosse at Fresno State.
  • Senior Hayley Kusserow and juniors Maggie Anderson and Meg Anderson earned SVLC second-team accolades. Kusserow, a product of Fair Oaks, led the team in scoring with 41 goals and 47 points on the season. She scored in 14 matches on the season and had a season-best seven goals against Palo Alto. She will play at St. Mary’s in the fall.
  • Attack Maggie Anderson (Fair Oaks) scored 13 goals on the season, tied for the fifth-best total on the team, while midfielder Meg Anderson (Penn Valley) found the net 10 times on the season.
  • Junior midfielder Erica Palmer earned SVLC honorable mention honors. Junior Marin Anderson was named for the Team Sportsmanship Award.
  • Kusserow (St. Mary’s) and Bone (Fresno State) signed to play lacrosse in college.
