St. Francis High School - Departments - Campus Ministry

Philanthropy is alive and well at St. Francis High School!

This year, for our Advent Giving, the St. Francis High School community, including the Alumnae Association, adopted 35 families in need. The families were screened through Catholic Charities and ranged in size from six to eleven individuals each.

The St. Francis community provided a magical Christmas for our 35 adopted families.
Our students, staff, parents, and alumnae donated an amazing selection of clothes, shoes, household items, toys, and gift cards for our Christmas Store, as well as fulfilling many of the specific gifts on the families' wish lists. Volunteers were busy as elves helping the parents shop, entertaining the children with Santa pictures and Christmas crafts, and gift-wrapping each gift.

In addition to all this, the Free Dress Fundraiser on Friday, December 7, 2007, raised enough funds to purchase $50 grocery store gift cards for our adopted families.
