Shadow Day

Her high school journey starts with finding the right fit. Let her find it.

On a St. Francis Shadow Day, your daughter spends a real school day at Sacramento's all-girls Catholic high school with a current student as her guide. It's the best way for her to see whether St. Francis is the right fit.

Student Shadow Days

Shadow Days begin Wednesday, October 7, 2026, and are open to 8th grade girls and to transfer students currently in grades 9 and 10.

Her day includes:

  • A welcome and a campus tour
  • Three classes with a current student host
  • Lunch with her host
  • One of our famous cafe cookies to end the day

We'll pair her with a student ambassador who shares her interests. She can also ask for a specific ambassador by name.

If she attends a Catholic K-8 school, her class may already have a Shadow Day scheduled. Please check with her school before booking an individual visit.
