Alumnae Spotlights
At St. Francis Catholic High School, our alumnae go on to lead extraordinary lives — breaking barriers, building communities, and making their mark on the world. The Troubie spirit doesn't end at graduation. It carries forward into every career, every challenge, and every achievement that follows.
The Alumnae Spotlight series celebrates the remarkable women who call St. Francis home. From the skies above the Atlantic to the arena floor of a national television competition, our alumnae are doing it all — with the confidence, kindness, and determination that St. Francis helped shape.
Explore their stories below.
Emily Pierucci '06 — Flying High Above the Atlantic
Emily Pierucci always knew she wanted to fly. Today, she's doing exactly that — piloting Boeing 777s on international routes for American Airlines, carrying hundreds of passengers to cities like Paris, London, and Buenos Aires. In a field where only about 7 percent of commercial pilots are women, Emily is a trailblazer who credits St. Francis with giving her the confidence to dream big and lead.
Enid Wilson '09 — Building Careers, Community, and Connection
Enid Wilson has never been afraid to reinvent herself. Since graduating from St. Francis, she has launched a yoga and wellness business, worked as a journalist and lifestyle editor, founded a marketing and communications firm, and is now growing a private therapy practice — all while serving as a communications professional at Lululemon and as a proud member of the St. Francis Alumnae Board. What ties it all together? The values of balance, authenticity, and community she first discovered as a Troubie.
Sydney Hunter '15 — From Serra Court to American Gladiator
If you had told Sydney Hunter '15 that she would one day star in a nationally televised athletic competition, she might not have believed you — but St. Francis taught her to go all in. A four-year track star who set the school record in the 400M, Sydney went on to compete in track at UC Riverside before pursuing a career as a personal trainer and powerlifter in Los Angeles. Now, she's taking on her biggest stage yet: a starring role in the Amazon Prime reboot of American Gladiator.
