Update on Campus Return from Diocese

Dear St. Francis Families,

This afternoon Lincoln Snyder, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, shared some extremely welcome and good news with us. All Catholic Schools in the Diocese will be able to return to their campus or school site in August!

There are still many things for us to work out as we return to this “new normal.” Things will look different, but our commitment to an outstanding education in a faith community will not change.

Important Update 4-8-20
Distance Learning for remainder of 2019-2020

Dear St. Francis Families,

After consultation with the Bishop’s Office, and public health officials, our Executive Director of Catholic Schools, Lincoln Snyder, directed all schools in the Diocese of Sacramento to be closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. While school buildings will remain closed to students, parents, and faculty/staff, instruction will continue via our established Distance Learning (DL) platform. For your reference, I am attaching a Distance Learning Timeline  for the remaining weeks of the school year.

Message from Principal – 3-23 Update

Dear St. Francis Families,

I hope you’re all doing well, taking care of yourselves and loved ones. We are into our second week of a mandated quarantine, and probably trying to find a rhythm to our new temporary reality.

Message from the Dean

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your understanding and support as we all work together in this time of transition.  We would like you to know that our program, times and structure has been developed with input from educators and mental health professionals. It has been advised that keeping students to their normal routines as much as possible will help keep them more emotionally and mentally safe in times of great stress.  With that in mind, we have created a “school day” that mimics the regular classroom day. However, there will be obvious differences, as your student will see, as we all walk the path of this new online format together.
