Principal’s Newsletter 3/06/15
As we continue our Lenten journey, I’d like to share something a colleague passed on to me. It is a list of “Lifelong Lenten Observances.” I will share a few of the 75 that are on the list. It is great food for thought as we look to renew ourselves in Christ this season.
- Talk to God daily.
- Savor simple things.
- Every day, be kind to a stranger.
- Learn to be silent.
- Bless your money so that as you use it, it will bless others.
- Go to Confession, especially if you can’t remember the last time you went.
- Strive to become holy.
- Don’t be hard on yourself.
- Be humble.
Our Lord invites us to come back to Him in a deeply personal way this season. May your Lenten observances do just that. St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
