Dear Families,

As we enter into the spring season of proms, balls and graduation parties, I would like to ask you to talk to your daughters about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  One of our speakers at the Every 15 Minutes Assembly last week shared that most parents are woefully unaware of the choices their children are making about drugs and alcohol. Please talk to your children about saying no, and don’t be afraid to ask the questions that will keep them safe:  Who are you hanging out with?  What are your friends’ phone numbers?  Who are their parents?  Will they be supervising? Where do they live?  Children need parents who are willing to set boundaries, even though kids push against them.  Sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t always feel good, but out of love and concern for the safety and well-being of our kids, sometimes we have the be the “bad guys.”  Let us pray that all our children will be safe this season. St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!

We begin AP testing this week and will continue testing for the next two weeks.  Please pray for our students who will be taking these high stakes tests.
