Principal’s Newsletter 1/10/20
Dear St. Francis Families,
Welcome back, and Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that we are in the second half of the 2019-2020 academic year. I know the two weeks of Christmas break probably passed by at a different pace, but now that school is back in session, a sense of normalcy should return to your households. The remaining months of this semester are going to move quite rapidly, and it’s important that we remind our students to plan ahead, stay on target, and resist procrastination.
As the pace of the semester picks-up, we also want to ensure that our Troubies utilize the various support systems that we have in place at St. Francis, such as asking teachers for assistance, signing up for tutoring, and working with Guidance and/or Wellness counselors to decrease some of the inherent anxiety that happens toward the end of the semester.
I look forward to seeing you at some of the upcoming premier events of the year, our annual Crab Feed on Saturday, February 1st, and Revelry Gala and Auction on Saturday, March 7th.
Pax et Bonum (peace and goodness),
