Dear St. Francis Families,

We had another productive week at St. Francis. Our Troubies are doing great things in and out of the classroom. Let’s try to keep them engaged as the anticipation of a two-week Easter break is almost palpable.

It was great seeing all of the parents and grandparents on campus this Tuesday and Thursday for our last Meet a Parent/Grandparent for lunch of the year. For our senior parents, this was the last lunch they will have with their daughter/s at St. Francis. I’m sure it brought a lot of bittersweet memories, but definitely worth the time spent on our campus over the past four years.

In the spirit of the upcoming week, I offer this reflective prayer by Rev. Herbert Yost:

Thank you for your gift of this season of Lent, Lord, and for the gentle challenges to personal growth that come through your Son’s word. Grant us the grace to continue loving you and our neighbors, so that we may experience the fullness of Easter joy. Amen.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!

Pax et Bonum (peace and goodness),
