Woven: Mothers and Daughters: come join in this time of reflection, renewal and recreation. This Autumn we are offering an extra session of our Mother Daughter retreat at the rustic Jesuit Retreat Center at Applegate in Placer County, November 9-10. The setting is perfect for a cozy autumn break before the holidays rush in upon us.

Our school year theme of “Woven Together by the Love of God” will be explored through the relationships of mothers and daughters. Mothers and daughters know themselves to be woven together wonderfully… and fearfully! Thankfully, the love of God is intertwined with them as well. “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Through activities, prayers and discussion, mothers and daughters will engage each other and recall their strength in one another. 

This retreat is open to students and families of all faiths. Attendance is an excused absence from school, and missed coursework follows retreat guidelines found in the student handbook. 

The cost is $155 per person. We will begin before dinner the evening of the 9th and retreatants must commute to the retreat center.
