St. Francis Day 2022
On October 4, the students, staff, and faculty will celebrate the feast of St. Francis (our patron saint). The schedule for the day includes 70-minute classes (E, F, G & H) with a prayer service (created by the Ministry Leadership Class and the Chamber Choir) followed by a mini-festival during an extended lunch break.
Our celebration this year focuses on our school year theme of “Woven Together by the Love of God,” and we encourage students to come dressed up as their favorite part of creation (animal, plant, or as someone who cares for creation – farmer, park ranger, zoologist, etc.). In honoring our principle of care for creation, students are encouraged to create their costumes with items they have, can borrow, or at the most get through “thrifting.” Upcycle whatever you can for your outfit. Prizes will be awarded for the best individual and the group costume. Also, the Grandparents Club will be offering a tie-dye station so please bring a pair of socks to tie-dye.
