11 St. Francis Seniors Make Collegiate Sports Commitments in Spring

There were 11 St. Francis seniors who have made commitments to compete in collegiate sports this spring, bringing the total to 20 student athletes for the Class of 2020 to date. They would have been recognized at a ceremony at the school on April 22 that was canceled due to the school closure because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 11 student-athletes making commitments since the fall include: Adithi Benush (Tennis/Occidental College), Marli Berry (Soccer, Howard University), Chloe Beebout (Swimming, CS East Bay), Isabella Fauria, (Cross Country/Track & Field, University of New Mexico), Mia Fleming-Mullins (Basketball, University of the Pacific), Mondah Javidan (Rowing, Harvard), Meghan Ladd (Track & Field, St. John’s (N.Y.) University), Sarah Mudd (Water Polo, Sierra College), Lindsey Piatanesi (Soccer, Chico State), Micayla Ratukalou (Soccer, Delta College), and Ari Spence (Soccer, CS San Marcos).

They joined nine student-athletes from the Class of 2020 who made commitments earlier in the year and were recognized in November. They include Emily Bilena (Soccer/Chico State University, Alexa Edwards (Volleyball/University of the Pacific), Kendall Houck (Water Polo/San Diego State University), Alyssa Jacobsen (Water Polo. George Washington University), Jesiree Moral (Volleyball/Fresno Pacific), Emma Peters (Swimming/University of San Diego), Haley Silva (Cross Country/Track & Field/ UC-Berkeley), Bella Vierra (Water Polo/Wagner College) and Sydnie Young (Equestrian/Texas Christian University).
