Cross Country Camp Cancelled

The St. Francis Cross Country Camp scheduled for August 4 through 7 at the Olema Campground has been cancelled for this summer.

St. Francis Athletics will continue to be directed by Diocesan, CIF State, and Section guidance regarding the status of fall sports and the start in August with the health and well-being of our students and coaches as the primary concern. The CIF will be determining by July 20 if fall sports will continue as currently scheduled.

The Cross Country program will look to host the event again in 2021 as it has become a special bonding and conditioning experience.

Fall Sports Update, Pre-Season Registration, and Physical Information

St. Francis Athletics will be directed by Diocesan, CIF State, and Section guidance regarding the status of fall sports and the start in August with the health and well-being of our students and coaches as the primary concern. In a statement released Friday, June 12, the CIF, in collaboration with the 10 Sections, announced it will be determining by July 20 if fall sports will continue as currently scheduled. The CIF is prepared to offer alternative calendars if it is determined by July 20 that fall sports may not start as scheduled due to ongoing public health and safety concerns.

In preparation for the start of sports, returning and incoming student-athletes and families can start preparation now by completing Final Forms registration with signatures and arranging for updated physicals.

Per the CIF guidelines released, student-athletes will still be required to provide an updated physical for 2020-21 school year. Fall athletes should have a physical and Final Forms complete by the start of practice. If you are unable to secure an appointment to meet the deadline, there is an option for a 30-day waiver to this requirement.

All incoming Class of 2024 Troubadour and transfer student-athletes need to complete sports registration on Final Forms prior to participation. Registration should include school-issued email. Student-athletes will need to add their sport, update their information, have both the parent, and student sign the appropriate forms and provide a physical. For questions on the registration process, click HERE. To be eligible for the waiver as a freshman/transfer student, you must submit a 2019-2020 physical with your paperwork.

Physical forms are available on GoTroubies.com and may now be uploaded directly to the Final Forms website or may be turned into Assistant AD for Sports Medicine, Kelly Ketcham.
