September 1, 2, & 3 from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at Freemont Park
This year for the first time Saint Francis High School will be doing 2 sidewalk squares at Chalk-It-Up held this weekend, Sept. 1,2,3 from 10am-6pm at Freemont Park (downtown between 15th & 16th and P & Q Streets). We will do two designs, one created by Chinh Chinh Nguyen that emphasizes the 4 Pillars Troubies exemplify and one created by Madison Gravelle that draws attention to the sisterhood Troubies are known for. Chalk-It-Up raises money for arts programming in schools. St. Francis HS directly benefits every year when we participate in the Self-Portrait show at the Crocker Art Museum which Chalk-It-Up sponsors.
What are we asking for? We are asking for students to sign up to work on either of the two squares this long, holiday weekend. Go to the links below to reserve a time slot. We would love for you to be a part of the art team. It’s a super fun event with live music, food trucks, hand-craft vendors and more. Thank you, and hope to see you there. Click HERE to sign up.
