Dads’ Club:  Parent Service Hours at St. Francis Open House

Dads’ Club will help the Admissions Department with the St. Francis Open House on Sunday, October 10 from 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Dads’ Club will set up tables, grill hotdogs, and help to clean up after the event. Join us on this important community building day, as we encourage new families to join our amazing St. Francis family. Sign up in MVP.

Dads’ Club: General Meeting with Dean Cost & Wellness; Thursday, October 14, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The October Dads’ Club general meeting will be held on Thursday, October 14, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dinner and social time will commence at 6:00 p.m. with an outstanding Italian dinner from Dads’ Club “Chef de Festa,” Mike Tringale and Pacific Coast Pasta Company! Join us to share food and fellowship. Sign up in MVP.  Pacific Coast Pasta is providing all the food, beer, and wine and water so a $10 donation is required if you’re going to eat. FYI, the school is trying to build our in-person community, so only the Dads’ Club in-person meeting option will count for parent service hours.

Dads’ Club will host the  Dean of Students, Cynthia Cost and Wellness Counselor, Ms. Kym Weinandy, (LMFT) Licensed Marriage Family Therapist.

Cynthia Cost, Dean of Students, is a perennial favorite guest at Dads’ Club!  She is responsible for campus-wide discipline and safety. The Dean works in collaboration with the Guidance Department and school administrators to counsel students in resolving personal, academic and behavioral problems. Along with the Safety Committee, the Dean coordinates emergency drill training for students, faculty and staff.

Kym Weinandy, our Wellness Counselor, is a unique and vital resource for all SF students and families. The wellness team is available to support you and your daughter in coping with the many stresses and possible complications during her high school career.

Reminder:  In-person attendance at Dads’ Club meetings will count toward one hour of parent service hours requirements for St. Francis. Please Sign up in MVP in advance to help us coordinate enough food and beverages.

Dads’ Club supports the St. Francis community in many ways. No matter how you first experienced St. Francis—whether as a student, parent, family member or friend, employee, employer of a St. Francis graduate, or neighbor—you were changed for the better by that experience. Sign up in MVP to join the SFHS Dads’ Club. Learn more about how St. Francis cultivates women who will change the world during their time here and after graduation.

All SFHS Dads (and Father figures) are welcome to attend Dads’ Club meetings. Dads’ Club helps Dads, and their Daughters develop positive, engaging, and lifelong Father-Daughter relationships. Every SFHS Dad (and Father figure) is a member of our Dads’ Club community.  Participating is a wonderful way to make a real difference in the lives of our daughters.  CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE about Dads’ Club.
