Register to join the SFHS Dads’ Club for our next general meeting on Thursday, March 11, at 6:30 pm. This meeting is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Dads’ Club will host St. Francis High School Assistant Principal, Dr. Jason Javier-Watson. He is the assistant principal for 9th and 10th grades at St. Francis Catholic High School.

Dr. Javier-Watson is the assistant principal of 9th and 10th grades at St. Francis Catholic High School. He is the chair of the Student Life Council and moderator for the Racial Justice League, a student-led club. He has trained over one-thousand educators from across the country on diversity issues in public, charter, independent, and higher education institutions. Dr. Javier-Watson also participates as a  member of the Diocese of Sacramento Anti-Racism Taskforce, and leads St. Francis’s Racial  Reconciliation Initiative in response to the racial uprisings of the summer 2020.

Dr. Javier-Watson will discuss St. Francis’ efforts to develop and implement its Racial Reconciliation Plan published in July 2020. Nine subcommittees were developed to assist with implementation of the plan, healthy resolution of racial conflict, repairing broken relationships, and creating a stronger community in support of our students and families of color.

Everyone who signs up for this Dads’ Club meeting will receive a Zoom meeting link prior to noon on March 11, 2021. Dads’ Club supports the St. Francis community in many ways. No matter how you first experienced St. Francis, whether as a student,  parent, family member or friend, employee, employer of a St. Francis graduate, or neighbor, you were changed for the better by that experience. All SFHS Dads (and Father figures) are welcome to attend Dads’ Club meetings. Dads’ Club helps Dads, and their Daughters develop positive, engaging, and lifelong Father-Daughter relationships. Every SFHS Dad (and Father figure) is a member of the Dads’ Club community. Participating is a wonderful way to make a real difference in the lives of our daughters.
