Homeroom Announcements 9/19/19

St. Francis Day!

We hope everyone is brainstorming their awesome St Francis Day Costumes!! This years theme, in case you missed it, is Unsung & Everyday Heroes!

Freshman and Sophomores get to dress up as those people that make our community and society work that go unnoticed. Who makes sure there isn’t garbage all over the city? Your car broke down, who gets you home safely? Who keeps our campus clean? Who educates the future generations? Think of all those people in our community that have jobs that might go unnoticed or under appreciated but make a huge impact in our society and without whom society would struggle.

Juniors and Seniors get to dress up as Everyday Heroes. Those include first responders, i.e., police officers, firefighters, paramedics, soldiers, doctors and nurses. Those that save lives and care for lives on a daily basis.

All costumes must abide by the free dress code. If you have questions about appropriate attire or and what qualifies for your category, please stop by the CLC and ask a Campus Minister!!

Prayer Opportunities!

Troubies! your Ministry Coordinators invite you to join them in prayer. There are a number of different styles of prayer. Pick your favorite.

  • On Tuesdays at 7:20 am begin your day with a few minutes of quiet contemplative prayer in the Chapel.
