SFHS One Acts ‘girl’ take Gold!

St. Francis was honored to participate in the 2019 Lenaea High School Theatre Festival! We are elated to share that our students took home the Gold for our One-Act play “girl” as well as Outstanding Original Script Award.

We also had students receive individual awards! Special shout-out to Aurora Giacobbe ‘20, who received Bronze for ‘Secret Service’ from ‘Mr. President’ and to Kelsi Towle ‘21, who received Silver for her role in ‘The Whispers Of Saints’.

Thank you to Mrs. Cheryl Watson and Mrs. Kiera Anderson ‘99 for all of their hard work with the SF Players! A note from Mrs. Anderson, “The experience of devising this one act “girl” was one of the best of my life. 58 young women shared their voice, fears and hopes, and empowered themselves and their peers through this piece. I am beyond thrilled they were recognized for this achievement at the Lenaea High School Theatre Festival. As always, the weekend was positive, encouraging and full of learning and beautiful art.#wearelenaea” Congratulations to our SF Players on another awesome festival!
