On Tuesday, September 11, 2018 St. Francis High School hosted its first Wellness Parent Night of the year with special guest speaker Amy Rose. Amy has been in the field of chemical dependency for the past 13 years. She graduated from American River College with a Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor II Certification, the highest standard in the field of addiction. She is currently attending California State University, Sacramento, to obtain her Marriage Family Therapist License.
Amy is passionate about helping individuals remove shame and learn to live in authenticity and vulnerability, while aiding entire family systems into health and wholeness. She considers it a privilege to walk others through their struggles with chemical dependency.
Amy’s message to your Troubie daughter(s) on Wednesday, September 12th was one of pure care, concern, and understanding. She was not only engaging, motivating, and honest, she moved us all with her amazing story of recovery and resilience.
