How Sacramento’s Fitness Economy Helped Create an ‘American Gladiators’ Star
St. Francis High School alumna Sydney Hunter was featured in Comstock's magazine for her starring role on the reboot of "American Gladiators," now streaming on Prime Video. A former standout sprinter at St. Francis who went on to compete at UC Riverside, Hunter credits the sisterhood and supportive community she experienced at the all-girls school with helping her build the confidence to pursue weightlifting and, ultimately, a spot on national television.
