    Theresa Rodgers is Priesident at St. Francis Catholic High School. She began her career teaching at an all girls’ Catholic high school in Pago Pago, American Samoa. She has experience teaching in both public and private schools, at the middle and high school levels.  She spent ten years as a teacher and ten years as assistant principal at a large, comprehensive public school in the Bay Area.  She served as Principal of St. Francis Catholic High School from 2013 to 2016 and now she serves as President.

  • Elias Mendoza

    Elias Mendoza is Principal at St. Francis Catholic High School. He possesses a strong background in curriculum and instruction, Professional Learning Communities, technology implementation, athletics, and expertise in long-range planning and facilities management. He has an uncompromising view that all students can learn when provided a positive learning environment which welcomes exploration and enhances student confidence.

    A highly qualified administrator, he served in the Elk Grove Unified School District for 14 years in a variety of capacities, including Social Science Department Chair, Co-Coordinator of the English Language Learner Program, and Vice Principal.

    Mr. Mendoza attended Catholic schools in his native Mexico which instilled in him a deep faith and love for Catholic education. He sees education as a moral imperative and vows to continue to honor its legacy by maintaining high academic standards and instilling the Gospel values of Jesus Christ.

  • Mary Castellano

    Mary Castellano is Assistant Principal for 11th & 12th grades at St. Francis Catholic High School. She began her career in the Bay Area working in the business sector, where she also volunteered in classrooms through the Junior Achievement program.  She began teaching in the San Jose Unified School District in 2002.  In 2004, she relocated to Sacramento and began teaching at St. Francis.  Mary spent nine years in the classroom at St. Francis before moving into Administration in 2013.

  • Fadia Desmond

    Fadia Desmond is Assistant Principal for 9th & 10thgrades at St. Francis Catholic High School.  She entered the field of Education as a high school English teacher in the Rocklin Unified School District.  After spending time in the classroom, Fadia completed a doctoral program in Education.  The focus of her research was pathways to success for educationally and economically disadvantaged students in higher education.  Through her work as a pre-med advisor for the UC Davis School of Medicine, Fadia became interested in student advising and admissions at the post-secondary and graduate school levels.
