  • Arts: Auditions for "The Boy Friend" & Patrons of the Arts Meeting


    Auditions for the Fall Musical, "The Boy Friend," - a 1920's comedy, will be at 3:15 p.m. on August 22 and on August 23 in the Choir Room. Call backs will be at 3:15 p.m. on August 25. This is an after-school program, so everyone can audition. Invite all theatre guys to come to the auditions, we need boys who can sing and dance!

    Those interested should attend the Fall Musical Workshop on August 17 at 3:15pm in the Choir Room.

    Want to do FUN parent hours? Come to the stage for apps/wine/beer and meet the Arts' Teachers and the Patrons of the Arts Parent Board to learn how you can help out the Arts Dept while checking off those parent hours. Ushering, building, sewing, hanging art and more. Tuesday, Sep 5, on the theatre stage.

  • Congrats Alumna Julie Soto '06

    Congrats to Alumna Julie Soto '06 who wrote a musical with fellow SFHS Arts actors Ryan Warren and Will Finan called "Generation Me the Musical." The musical was accepted into the 2017 New York Musical Festival (NYMF).

    Julie, Ryan and Will were all in Mrs. Watson's productions from 2003-2007. See photos below of the 2006 St. Francis High School production of "Little Women," Julie played Aunt March.

    Performances for "Generation Me" are from July 26-30.

  • Fifteen Students Recognized for Collegiate Commitment to the Arts

    Sacramento, Calif. – May 10, 2017
    SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Fifteen outstanding students will be recognized at a St. Francis event on Friday, May 12 at 8:00am in the St. Francis Theatre on campus to honor those graduating seniors who have made the choice to major in an Art discipline. Students represent a breadth of Art fields such as music, television and film, acting, musical and technical theatre, art history, and architecture. They will be attending fifteen different programs at some of the country’s top schools.

  • California High School Musical Honors 2017

    Congratulations to Natalie Bourgeois '17, Jillie Kate Randle '18 & Michael Carey '17 (Center High School) for representing St. Francis last night at the regional California High School Musical Honors for their roles in SF's "Little Women" production. We are elated to share that Natalie was awarded Best Actress for her performance as Jo March. She'll be going to New York this summer to be part of the Jimmy Awards showcasing the top high schools musical theatre performers from across the country! Thank you to all who are involved and support the Arts at St. Francis.
