We’re talking about playoffs! Playoffs! That is right it is Sac-Joaquin Section playoff time. Water Polo is the No. 2 seed in the Division I bracket with a semifinal game on Tuesday in Modesto. The championship game would be Saturday at Woodcreek. Volleyball opens play in the Division II bracket on Tuesday with a home game against Roseville. Tennis continues play on Monday, Nov. 9 with a home match against Del Oro at Rio del Oro Racquet Club. Cross Country will compete at the Sac-Joaquin Section meet on Saturday for a berth to the state championships. Remember – Section playoff ticket prices are in effect and Booster passes will not be usable for any home playoff games. For a complete look at the athletics schedule, click here.

Golf Team Finishes Season at Masters

The St. Francis golf team finished tied for fourth at the Sac-Joaquin Masters tournament at the Reserve at Spanos Park, missing qualifying for the NorCal Championships by 10 strokes. To read the complete release, click here.

Volleyball Finishes Tied for Third at Super 8

The St. Francis volleyball team finished tied for third at its Super 8 Invitational on Saturday after falling in the championship bracket semifinals to Campolindo 25-18, 25-21. Cross Country Team Second at Delta League Meet

Sydney Vandegrift finished fourth overall to lead the St. Francis varsity team to a second-place finish at the Delta League Cross Country Championships Saturday at Willow Hills Reservoir. To read the complete release, click here.

Tennis Advances in Section Playoffs

The St. Francis tennis team advanced to the Sac-Joaquin Section quarterfinals with a 9-0 win over Vacaville at Rio del Oro Racquet Club. The Troubadours will host Del Oro on Monday, Nov. 9. Del Oro posted a 8-1 win over Enochs. Read the complete release here.

Next Booster Club Meeting

The next Booster Club meeting will be November 18, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. in the old Faculty Lounge. 

College Commitment Celebration

The first National Letter of Intent and college commitment celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 11 at 9 a.m. in the Campus Life Center. While the school will be closed in observance of Veteran’s Day, the event will still be held in conjunction with the NCAA Signing Date. The event will be streamed live online on TroubieTV.
