Athletics Notes 9/11/15


All five St. Francis fall sports are in action this week starting with Water Polo (JV/V) on Monday at Jesuit against El Camino, Volleyball plays at home against El Camino (Sept. 15), and Pleasant Grove (Sept. 17). Tennis has three matches this week and hosts rival Davis on Thursday at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club. The golf team has a league meet on Monday and then plays Davis on Wednesday at Haggin Oaks. Cross Country will compete in Concord at the Nike Invitational on Saturday morning. For a complete look at the athletics schedule, click here.

Fall Sports Photo Day

Lifetouch will be on campus on Friday, Sept. 18 to shoot all Fall sports teams individual and team pictures after school. To order online, please go to the Lifetouch Website. Sports Passes Available

The St. Francis Athletics Department is selling Sports Passes good for admission to all volleyball and basketball games.

The 2015-16 Sports Pass is good for admission to all regular season home volleyball and basketball games. The Sports Pass is not good for Sac-Joaquin Section Foundation/Playoff games, CIF Playoff games, and Holy Court/Holy Hoops games. Lifetime Booster passes and 4-Year Booster Club Memberships will be honored at the door and members will be issued new Sports Pass cards. The cost of the Sports Pass is $50 for an individual and $100 for a Family Pass good for up to four admissions.

Freshman Alcoran Leads Golf to Win in League Opener

Freshman, Olivia Alcoran, shot a five-over par 41 to lead St. Francis to dual match victory over Pleasant Grove to open Delta League play Wednesday at Morgan Creek Golf Club. Read the complete release here.
