Ways to Give to SFHS

Fundraising is a vital part our culture. We are committed to continuing the St. Francis traditions of faith, leadership, excellence and service.

While tuition covers roughly 85 percent of the operating budget of the school, additional resources are necessary to carry a St. Francis education forward. Through gifts of time, talent, and treasure, the philanthropy of our community supports outstanding programs and facilities, and provides tuition assistance to more than 24 percent of our families.

The Arts at St. Francis

Experience the Arts at St. Francis. Our performance students receive special and statewide recognition at regional theatre and music festivals, visual artists take high honors at county and state competitions and St. Francis dancers perform in concert, special events, competitions and liturgies.

SFHS Student wins SCOE Academic Decathlon Art Competition 2017

Congratulations to Anna Lucia Burns ‘19. Anna’s artwork, “The Victory Kiss”, was the winning entry in the SCOE Academic Decathlon Art Competition. Her piece will be featured on the decathlon’s posters and t-shirts. Several other St. Francis students were honored with awards: Elizabeth Chiu (Aesthetics and Design), Grace Conlin (Aesthetics and Design), MiKayla Kauinana (Concept and Content), Emily Fargen (Honorable Mention), Annika Remme (Honorable Mention), and Adithi Benush (Honorable Mention).

A special thank you to Melanie Bown, who integrated this competition into her classroom and gave students an opportunity show their talents to the greater Sacramento community. Additional thanks to Brian Briggs and Barbara Gluvers for their support of the AcaDec program on our campus.
