Valerie Ramos serves as Coordinator of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at St. Francis Catholic High School. She worked in Sacramento City Unified School district as a teacher, vice principal, and principal at K-8 schools for 20 years. She earned a MA in Catholic Theology from University of Sacramento and Franciscan University, Steubenville, then served as Director of Religious Education at St. John Vianney Parish in Rancho Cordova. She and her husband, Carlos, coordinate the RCIA program, and is the founder of the St. Josephine Bakhita Black Catholic Ministry at Good Shepherd Parish in Elk Grove.
