Track and Field Conditioning
Pre-pre-season conditioning will begin October 3. These workouts will be held at Jesuit High School on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting at around 3:30. These workouts will be relatively short (approx.1 hour) focused on general conditioning and overall fitness, with some attention to technique for sprinters and hurdlers.
- Pre-season conditioning will begin in November and will continue right up to the start of the official season. As we go through the winter and get closer to the start of the season, the emphasis will begin to shift toward event specific training and technique while maintaining a high level of overall fitness.
- Because of Sac-Joaquin section rules, all of the workouts conducted at Jesuit High School must be run through the Carmichael Track Club. All athletes training at Jesuit in the offseason must be registered with the Carmichael Track Club through USATF. There is a $25 facility usage fee charged by Jesuit (yes they charge us) for the fall/winter because we are out of season.
