Ways to Give to SFHS

Fundraising is a vital part our culture. We are committed to continuing the St. Francis traditions of faith, leadership, excellence and service.

While tuition covers roughly 85 percent of the operating budget of the school, additional resources are necessary to carry a St. Francis education forward. Through gifts of time, talent, and treasure, the philanthropy of our community supports outstanding programs and facilities, and provides tuition assistance to more than 24 percent of our families.

Basketball’s Lauren Craig in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – St. Francis senior Lauren Craig is among the six athletes featured in the Faces in the Crowd segment of this week’s edition of Sports Illustrated. TNT Sideline reporter Craig Sager is on the cover of the May 2, 2016 edition on newsstands now.

Craig is recognized for her part in helping the Troubadours reach the CIF Division I State Championship game and winning the NorCal and Delta League Championships. She led St. Francis in scoring and rebounding for the third consecutive season and finished her four-year career with more than 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds, the first player in in more than 20 years to achieve the feat.

Craig was named the Delta League Player of the Year and was a Sacramento Bee All-Metro first-team selection. NorCalPreps.com recently named her to All-NorCal second team.

Faces in the Crowd is SI’s weekly feature highlighting standout amateur athletes in high school, college and masters’ sports since 1956. Craig is the second Troubadour to earn recognition in the magazine, joining Water Polo’s Ally Tambornini. She was in the December 7, 2015.
