The St. Francis freshman volleyball team defeated Roseville 25-22, 25-9 to take the Carmichael Invitational Volleyball Tournament. The Troubies went 7-0 on Saturday at the CIVT. They opened by winning their pool with wins over Novato, University Prep and Bret Harte. SF then advanced over Napa and Sutter before beating Bishop Manogue in three sets 25-11, 25-27, 15-6 in the semifinals. The Frosh are now 11-0 on the season and take on Davis at 4 p.m. on Monday.
