Golf Wins First Delta League Center Match

ELK GROVE, Calif. – Sophomore Chase Saca and senior Kristi Lee both carded six-over par rounds of 82 to lead St. Francis to a 57-stroke victory in the first Delta League Center match at Wildhawk golf course on Monday.

Saca and Lee tied for third overall behind Marie Dean of Davis, who shot a four-over par 76. Courtney Cervelin of Franklin posted a 78 to place second in the field.

The Troubadours five-player total of 417 easily out-distanced Elk Grove (474) and Davis (482).

Freshman Olivia Alcoran recorded an 83 and classmate Patricia Sweeney had an 84. Senior Mikia Fang posted and 86 and Kate Swanson shot an 87.

St. Francis takes on Davis in a dual match on Wednesday at Haggin Oaks at 3 p.m.
