SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Junior Jorie Keitges scored a career-high 17 points as St. Francis posted a 75-44 victory over Franklin on Tuesday night.

“It was a lot of fun tonight,” said Keitges. “We all connected on the court and our sequences of passes were on point.”

Keitges knocked down five three-pointers as part of her record night, scoring in double digits for the third time this season.

“I was focusing on my form and to shoot it with arc and spin on it,” said Keitges. “They went in for me tonight.”

Senior Marlee Nicolos added 15 points and junior Nika Bagatelos contributed 14, including a pair of three pointers. Sophomore Mia Fleming-Mullins scored 10 in the win.

“We did much tonight,” said Fleming-Mullins, who added 10 points. “We really thought about each other and how we could score as a team. We rotated the ball well so everyone could get shots. We were able to find the open players and were knocking them down.

St. Francis (9-6) took control of the game with a 28-point first quarter as seven players scored. The Troubadours turned a close game into a big win with a 15-2 run to close the quarter. Nicolos got to the basket for seven and Bagatelos scored seven of her 14 points.
