Distance Wars Results
TURLOCK, Calif. – The St. Francis track and field team opened the
season with the distance group competing at the Pitman Distance
Wars.
St. Francis won the featured Distance Medley Relay with a team
featuring Erica Cradeur, Hanna Hekkanan, Haley Silva and Sydney
Vandegrift winning in 13.23.49. The event features four legs
including the 1200-400-800-1600.
Vandegrift won the varsity 800 meters in 2:31.20 with five
Troubadours in the top five. Freshman Hanna Hekkenan (2:35.03)
was third, junior Haley Silva2:35.49) was fourth and sophomore
Grace Harrsion was seventh (2:38.51). Vandegrift and Silva were
fourth and fifth, respectively in the 1600m.
