TroubieTV to Broadcast 10 Basketball Games

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – TroubieTV will broadcast the St. Francis junior varsity and varsity games against Franklin Tuesday night as part of 10-game schedule over the remainder the basketball regular season. The inaugural broadcast of TroubieTV came on Feb. 16 of the varsity win over Sheldon.

Fans can watch the broadcasts by registering on the NFHS website. All basketball games are scheduled to be shown free with games available on demand. Daily or season passes will be available later in the season for a small fee with all games available for free on demand three days following the contest.

The 10 broadcasts will include games from all three levels of the basketball program including two freshmen and three junior varsity contests. The Soccer National Letter of Intent Signing celebration will also be shown.

TroubieTV is a product of the Sports Media Club, broadcasting and producing St. Francis sports games via PlayOn!, a web-streaming company specializing in high school sports. It will provide a platform to showcase the events online for the St. Francis Athletics teams, coaches and student-athletes. The purpose of the Sports Media Club is provide experiential opportunities that will include broadcast announcing, sports filming and production of the events. The broadcasts will also increase exposure and help build the St. Francis brand to stakeholders by offering events for viewing with full mobile capability, including phone, Internet-enabled TV and tablet.
