Co-Curricular Activities at St. Francis High School: Clubs, Leadership, and More

Something for Everyone

At St. Francis High School in Sacramento, students are encouraged to reach beyond the classroom—to explore new interests, engage with global issues, and contribute to the ideas and technologies shaping the future. With a wide variety of student clubs and organizations, there’s truly something for everyone.

St. Francis offers a vibrant selection of co-curricular and extracurricular activities designed to help students develop leadership skills, pursue personal passions, and connect with peers in a supportive and engaging environment. From academic teams and service clubs to cultural groups and special interest organizations, student involvement is a cornerstone of the Troubadour experience.

Academic Teams and Competitions

Academic teams at SFHS are offered to students who seek an intellectual challenge, personal growth, and the benefits of team membership. Most teams are one year courses earning two-credits. Attendance, participation in team events, positive attitude and support for team members are used for student assessment. Some teams hold try-outs and/or require applications. Student Leadership Course

Leadership course is a required class if you have been elected as a Student Body Officer or Class Officer. Students in this class will develop an understanding of leadership theory, personal development, communication, organization, community building, and ethics in leadership.
