SFHS French Culture & Language Immersion Trip

Sixteen students from the French department went on a full immersion trip to Québec city on January 16th for five days! Check out this wonderful & creative student produced video highlighting the many adventures and lessons from their trip.

Beside touring the city, the students visited an authentic Huron Village, they went snowshoeing in the forest, went dog sledding and pet the adorable puppies, went tubbing in one of the biggest snow resort, tasted the maple sugar at the Sugar shack, visited the Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, visited the Parliament, learned about the history of Québec, visited the historical site of the Plains of Abraham, sang, danced,…..and eat a lot of great food!!! And last but not least, students listen, spoke, read and communicate in French for 5 days as it was a French immersion trip in “la nouvelle France”!
