Teryn is a second year graduate student studying social work at Sacramento State. After graduating this spring, they plan to work in K-12 public schools as a school social worker or mental health clinician. They are particularly interested in supporting neurodivergent students. Prior to graduate school, they worked at a youth crisis line, did community engagement for a medical residency program, and worked with autism research studies.
