Director of Campus Ministry

The Director of Campus Ministry leads the Campus Ministry team and is responsible for the overall programs in the areas of worship, retreats, student and staff faith formation, and service. The Director of Campus Ministry oversees the Campus Ministry Department and its staff, functioning, and budget. This person is a member of the Executive Staff and works in collaboration with school leaders and the Campus Ministry team to foster spiritual growth and development through events and activities that involve the St. Francis Catholic High School community. These include liturgies, student retreats, Christian Service projects, faith formation, the Big Sister program, celebrating the liturgical seasons, and experiences that build up the faith community. The person in this role must be an active, practicing Catholic. This is a full-time, year-round exempt position.

Salary range is $77,000-$85,000 per year.

Theater Arts Teacher and Theatrical Director

The St. Francis Catholic High School Theater Arts Teacher and Theatrical Director will be a passionate educator who is deeply committed to Catholic, faith-based education and student success. The teacher is a subject matter expert who knows how to build a positive classroom culture focused on learning, uses student learning data to drive his or her work, and delivers engaging rigorous instruction. The teacher is expected to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Sacramento, and to adhere to the directives set by school administration. In collaboration with the Director of the Arts, the Technical Director, and Administration, the person in this position will oversee the productions of the co-curricular theater program. This position is a part-time teaching position for the 24/25 school year and includes additional compensation for directing St. Francis Catholic High School theatrical productions, one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester.

Range of pay for the teaching portion of the position is based on the teacher salary schedule. Rate of pay for directing the theatrical productions is $10,000-$14,000 per year.

Chemistry Teacher – Summer 2024

The Summer Chemistry Teacher at St. Francis Catholic High School is a temporary exempt employee who focuses on teaching the fundamentals of Chemistry through written and laboratory work. The Chemistry course will focus on stoichiometry, acids/bases, state of matter, atomic theory, bonding, and more. The person in this position will require utilizing problem solving, data analysis, and math as tools for teaching and learning. The Summer Chemistry Teacher is expected to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Sacramento, and to adhere to the directives set by school administration.

Rate of pay is $6,580 for the 28-day session (June 10th-July 19th).

The Camp Troubie Teacher leads classes during the 4-week Camp Troubie Summer Program at St. Francis Catholic High School.  The Teacher is responsible for teaching the curriculum for two 2-week sessions to rising 5th to 8th grade girls.  The person in this position will be enthusiastic, engaging, and is expected to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Sacramento, and to adhere to the directives set by school administration. Track & Field Assistant Coach – Jumps

The Assistant Track & Field Coach/Jumps is a part-time, occasional position that reports to and is under the direction of the Head Varsity Track & Field Coach.  This position is responsible for specialized coaching in Jumps Field events (High, Triple and Long).  In addition, the Assistant Coach will be responsible for character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.  The person in this role is required to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community and well as uphold and support the mission of the school. This is an occasional part-time position working less than 20 hours per week.

Rate of pay is $16.00 per hour.
