This course is the first year of a two-year course in Algebra 2. Students who study Algebra 2A will have a full year to gain experience in and master solving and graphing linear equations and inequalities and systems of linear equations and inequalities including those with absolute values. In addition, students will learn to simplify and solve polynomial and rational functions through various methods of factoring and division. NCAA approved.

Prerequisite: C- (second semester) in both Algebra 1 and Geometry

Required supplies: Texas Instruments TI-84 plus graphing calculator.
