Fall Picture Day

Fall Picture Day is Thursday, August 7th and Friday, August 8th, 2025. All students must wear a red polo shirt for their photos. Please make sure to remove your glasses so we can fully see your face.

ALL students are required to get their ID picture taken, even seniors.
Students will receive their ID card during the first week of school, not when their picture is taken.
Picture makeup day will be in September and only applicable for students who were not on campus for the original picture day. No make-ups for any reason, no retakes because you don’t like your picture.

Grandparents Club Welcome Back Potluck Lunch:
in the Dining Hall

The Grandparents Club invites all grandparents to their Welcome Back Potluck Lunch on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 12:30pm on campus in the dining hall. This is a great way to spend some quality time together and hear about some of the exciting plans for the 2025-26 school year. Please RSVP your attendance and potluck item here.

Join the SFHS Parents’ Guild

All St. Francis parents are members of the Parents’ Guild, an organization that provides support for many SFHS events during the year. The Parents’ Guild meets monthly right after drop off to plan activities and to serve as an advisory group to the administration.

New Family PowerSchool and Schoology Access

All new families should have received an introductory email on Wednesday, July 30, with information on PowerSchool and Schoology. A separate email will be sent to parents with access credentials this week. Please add @rackspace.powerschool.com to your list of approved senders. If you do not receive your access credentials by August 4, please reach out to Lori Ansell.

Volunteer Training for the Troubie Store

If you wish to volunteer in the Troubie Store, the mandatory training will be taking place August 7. If you have already been trained, you do not need to retrain for the upcoming school year. Please sign up on MVP.

Athletics News 8-1-25

Sports Physicals: Please make sure you have a current sports physical completed and uploaded to FinalForms. No student can participate in any off season training or tryouts for any sports until this is completed. If you have any questions please email Kelly Ketcham.

Fall Sports Start Date and Tryouts: Fall Sports officially start on Monday August 4th. Each sport has their own process for tryouts and roster formation. Please make sure you are registered for your fall sport on FinalForms so you are getting the most up to date tryout information. Please note student athletes will only be allowed to try out for one fall sport. They can not go to 2 different sports for tryout week. They will have to choose which sport they want to try out for. Fall sports will have tryouts and cuts on the same days so it is not possible to do tryouts for both at the same time.

We’re Hiring: Golf Assistant Coach

St. Francis is currently seeking a Golf Assistant Coach for the upcoming season. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about mentoring student-athletes and supporting our golf program.

The ideal candidate must be available for:

Practices at 4:00pm
Matches on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning in late August, with arrival at the golf course by 1:30pm

LiveScan Services On Campus
SFHS Dining Hall

We will be offering LiveScan services on campus for parents. As per the Diocese, all parent volunteers are required to complete their fingerprints to be able to volunteer on campus. For you convenience, we will have a LiveScan officer on campus during Fall Sport Parent Night on August 18th (5-8pm) and at Back to School Night on August 28th (5-8pm). The cost is $57 per person via cash or credit card. A valid form of ID is required (preferably a driver’s license).

Applying for Formal Accommodation for Incoming Freshmen

If you would like to apply for formal accommodation on behalf of your daughter for the upcoming school year, please follow the steps below:

Please submit a copy of the current medical, psychological, or educational evaluation(s) to the Learning Support Specialist, Katie Dickson.
St. Francis requires a current psychoeducational evaluation (3-5 years) and/or medical evaluation (1 year) on file to ensure the accommodation plan addresses student needs in the least restrictive environment.

Retreat Registrations for the 2025-26 Year

Retreat registration is open for the 2025-26 academic year. If a family already has an existing Campbrain account, please use that to register for any of this year’s retreats. Please remember to make sure that each Troubie’s profile has their correct grade for this academic year. Unfortunately, Campbrain does not automatically update a student’s grade. Financial aid and payment plans are available for the Sophomore, Junior, and Kairos retreats; please don’t let financial concerns prevent a student from attending.

Christian Service Hours for 2025-2026

The service period for this school year began on June 1st. At that time, students were emailed a copy of the deadlines and minimum requirements. Students must meet the minimum requirements to participate in extracurricular activities (including the Homecoming Dance). Students must record and verify their service hours using their MobileServe account. New students can activate their accounts by following the instructions sent to their school email account. Service policies and requirements will be covered during the Campus Ministry orientation, which will take place after school begins. For questions regarding Christian Service, please contact Ms. Villanueva.

Get started on your Family Service Hours for the 2025-26 Year!

Going into the 2025-26 school year, all families will be required to complete 25 hours for the school year. Ten (10) of those hours must be completed in active service on campus. Up to 15 of the hours can be earned through specific donations indicated on our MVP website; every $30 spent will equate to 1 hour of service.
