Dear St. Francis Families,

We recently welcomed an accreditation committee to evaluate our 18-month self-study process and resulting goals. This impartial committee of educators spent four days immersed in our school to meet with students, parents, school leadership, teachers and staff to discern our vitality as a catholic school. I am honored to share with you that they affirmed our community as commendable, the most distinguished adjective offered by our accrediting agency!

Thank you for your generous participation throughout this process, especially for sharing your experiences, concerns, and goals through the many surveys that you received last year. I appreciate the thoughtful consideration that you showed through your commentary and the commitment to our community evident in your responses.

With deep gratitude, thank you for the opportunity to work with your daughters. To say the visiting committee was impressed with our Troubies would be a tremendous understatement! Our six evaluators emphasized the mutual respect and support that was evident in classrooms, shared spaces, and focus group discussions. As a teacher who enjoys the laughter, enthusiasm, and brilliance of your daughters daily, the heartfelt reaction of our visitors was a sentimental reminder that immersing yourself in the St. Francis community means experiencing genuine sisterhood.

Sincerely,

Kore Zimmerman, MEd., NBCT
