Holy Hoops Game at CB
vs Christian Brothers on Saturday, January 18th

Our Basketball Program will be playing in their annual Holy Hoops game vs Christian Brothers on Saturday, January 18th in the Christian Brothers High School Gym. JV starts at 4:00pm and Varsity at 6:00pm.

Human Trafficking Awareness Speaker Event

Listen to speakers from the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and regional medical professionals who work with victims. RSVPs are appreciated but not required

Did you know Sacramento is the fourth largest human trafficking market in the United States and our students are being targeted via social media and other means to participate? Learn more about human trafficking in Sacramento and how it is impacting everyone including the Sacramento Catholic school communities. Learn how to prevent unsuspecting teens from getting caught up in a dangerous life that is incredibly prevalent in our neighborhoods.

Parents of Freshmen and Sophomores are invited to join us for in-person parent night presentations. We will discuss course availability, prerequisites, and the course registration process. We will also cover course pathways, honors and AP courses, and college information.

Revolution Prep is hosting a webinar focused on paying for college and financial aid. Register here.

Scott Wallace-Juedes, the Assistant Vice President of Financial Aid at NYU (and former Director of Financial Aid at Yale), will share actionable insights on navigating financial aid for college. Families will learn about the latest FAFSA and CSS profile updates, scholarships, grants, and strategies to make college affordable.

Semester Grades

Semester Grades: Second semester grades will be available for parents and students in the PowerSchool Portal on June 2, 2025. Semester grades are listed on the official transcript and include the final letter grade for year-long and semester classes.

Senior Parents: On June 4, 2025, seniors’ records will be updated to “graduated” and both students and parents will no longer be able to view student information in PowerSchool.

Replacement Chromebook Chargers

Students needing replacement chargers should make sure they are purchasing a compatible charger to avoid device damage. We recommend purchasing a Dell charger, or a verified alternative charger. Both are available on Amazon.

Disneyland Safe and Sober Grad Night Schedule

May 22, 2025

5:00pm: Graduation ends
10:00pm: Check in at SFHS Rec Room
10:30pm: Party begins!!! Load your ziplock bags with water and snacks for the bus (all provided)
11:00pm: Load buses for Disneyland

May 23, 2025

8:00am: Arrive at Downtown Disney; unload buses
9:00am: Enter Disneyland Park -Attendees will have a Park Hopper Pass to go between Disneyland and California Adventure
11:00pm: Load buses; leave Disneyland

May 24, 2025

6:00am: Buses return to SFHS; Dads’ Club providing “DADS and GRADS” grab and go breakfast upon return; Attendees met by parents/family.

Get a jump start on your Parent Service Hours for next year! The Advancement Department needs the following donations and volunteer service.

MVP volunteer opportunities are regularly added here.

The volunteer commitment for the 2025-26 school year remains 25 hours per family (for ALL grade levels). Family service hours can be earned by parents, step-parents, grandparents, and guardians.
