We hope you are enjoying your summer with family and friends. While it is still July, the start of the 2023-24 school year will be here before we know it and we want you to be prepared. Our back-to-school parent newsletter is filled with helpful information and quick links to forms and other resources. There’s a lot of information, so take your time reviewing. All of this information lives on our website so you can easily refer back to it at your convenience.

Enjoy the remaining weeks of summer and we look forward to welcoming you back to campus in a few weeks.

Register for Spring Overnight Retreats

Our last Junior Retreat of the school year will be January 17-19, 2024. We leave shortly after the start of the new semester, so reserve a spot now before Christmas Break. The Spring Sophomore Retreat is February 8-9 and is almost full. The waitlist will remain open and spots will be offered individually as they become available.

Online registration for Mother-Daughter Retreat (February 15-16) opens December 15. Come join in this time of reflection, renewal, and recreation. We are offering our popular Mother Daughter retreat at the Jesuit Retreat Center at Applegate in Placer County. There is only the Spring date this year and we anticipate spots going quickly. This retreat fills up very quickly so if you are interested please be sure to sign-up early. Cost of retreat will be $310 a pair ($155/person). We cannot offer financial aid for this retreat, but a payment plan is possible.

Grades, Assignments and So Much More

We use two components of the PowerSchool system so you may track your daughter’s progress while she is at St. Francis – PowerSchool Student/Parent Portal and Schoology. They are two separate sites with two separate logins.

2023-2024 Class Schedules

Student schedules were emailed to Troubiemail accounts and parent emails on June 28th. While we have done our best to minimize course conflicts, there may be times when we are unable to honor all requests.

Final Forms Updates

Final Forms is the official online registration process for parents and students, used for back-to-school forms, including medical and emergency information, and forms that are required prior to participation in Athletics at St. Francis. Even if your family completed forms this summer for a Fall sport, there are additional forms that have been added and must be signed by both parents and students. All parents will need to complete their student’s registration information by August 10th. If you have any questions about logging into your account, please reach out to SFTech@stfrancishs.org.

Parents of student-athletes, particularly those competing in fall sports, should register their daughters on FinalForms as soon as possible. Tryouts and conditioning will begin as early as July 31, and all forms plus documentation of a physical need to be on file prior to any participation. Additionally, sports-specific details and information are sent through FinalForms.

Reminder from the Business Office

All tuition accounts must be current by April 30, 2024, for students to sit for final exams. For Seniors, Cap and Gowns will not be given out until their tuition account is current. You can view/pay your balance in your FACTS tuition account. You can also contact FACTS at 1.866.441.4637 to make a payment. The status of your tuition account could also affect your daughter receiving her report card, transcripts and/or diploma if all financial obligations to the school are not met.
