Karla Barbosa

Faculty/Staff Admissions

Karla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Spanish, and Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific and a Master of Education in Educational Business Administration. Most recently, she served as Director of Admissions at Cristo Rey High School, where she was part of the community for more than 12 years.

During her time at the University of the Pacific, Karla immersed herself in campus life and leadership. She was an active member of Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). She also served as Chair and Facilitator for White Roses, a mentorship program supporting 7th- and 8th-grade girls at Cleveland Elementary.

After graduating, Karla worked with Migrant Education as the Lead Supervisor for a Tutor-Mentor program serving more than 100 children in the Stockton area. As a former migrant student herself, she is deeply committed to giving back to her community and empowering students to succeed through education.

Karla is happily married and the proud mother of two young boys.
