Did you know that April is native plant month? St. Francis has
two native plant gardens on campus, one in Canticle Garden and
one off Serra Court. These wildlife habitats are cared for by
Garden of Eden Club student volunteers. Next time you’re on
campus check out the native plants you might want to incorporate
in your own garden. Featured in the photos: California Golden
Poppy, Hummingbird Sage, California Redbud, Elderberry,
California lilac and white sage. To learn more about
native plants visit the Sacramento Native Plants
Society, which funded our St. Kateri Garden with a
  generous grant.
