Testing CatapultEMS

News Cynthia Cost

We will be testing our new Catapult EMS emergency communications systems with the students and staff on 10/6/22 at 9:55am. This is the same program currently being used successfully to support emergency communications among staff in the event of an emergency requiring actions such as a lockdown or evacuation.

In the case of an actual lockdown/shelter in place emergency, that timely and direct notification to each student is paramount for safety preparedness. This system will allow all students no matter where they are on campus to be alerted to and aware of any/all emergencies that require them to take immediate action. This new service will allow students to receive the same initial notification of an emergency that their teachers/staff receive when a campus emergency or drill arises.

Please check your students final forms to confirm the student number listed is current and accurate. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to Cynthia Cost.
