Their family moved to the Sacramento area from Half Moon Bay in 2019 and have definitely found a home at St. Francis. Anya is honored to be spearheading efforts for this year’s Gala & Auction.

“I am a big fan of a single-sex education. There is so much to offer in developing strong, educated young women. I want to invest in a school that shares the vision of sisterhood for our girls.”

Anya has attended the past three auctions, which she says have been nothing short of amazing, wonderful and inspiring. She enjoys seeing the passion from the community pour out.

“Not all of us can raise our paddle, but being there to show support is well worth the price of admission.”

This year’s prizes include tickets to Sacramento Kings games, vacation houses in Tahoe and Dillon Beach, a possible F1 experience, and many other wonderful trips, excursions and interactive local events, along with a few surprising hidden gems.

“My goal is to really rally the St. Francis community in support of the school and our leadership who are choosing to stick to the school’s historical Catholic roots and provide an all-girls campus and education. I would love to see the community come out and support that vision. We invite everyone to come enjoy the night and do it with purpose.”

The committees have been hard at work securing sponsorships and donations, building designs and planning dramatic opera Victorian-themed décor. And in true iconic Phantom fashion, she has even heard rumors a chandelier just might make an appearance. You’ll have to join in the fun to see for yourself! Tickets go on sale in January.
