Christian Service Requirement
Our program requires students to perform direct service. This means you are in direct contact with the people or organization they help. Donating money or goods, fundraising, and working from home do not earn credit. Refer to the Christian Service FAQs for details on service expectations.
The service period for this school year is June 1, 2025, to March 13, 2026. To be eligible for extracurricular activities, you must meet the quarterly or semester benchmarks–mark those dates and minimums on your calendar.
Sophomore: 15 or more total hours at two or more non-profit organizations
- Friday, October 17th: minimum of 5 hours
- Friday, December 19th: at least 10 total hours
- Friday, March 13th: at least 15 total hours
Junior: 20 or more total hours at no more than two non-profit organizations
- Friday, October 17th: minimum of 7 hours
- Friday, December 19th: at least 14 total hours
- Friday, March 13th: at least 20 total hours
Senior: 30 or more total hours at no more than two non-profit organizations
- Friday, October 17th: minimum of 10 hours

Verification of service hours policies remains the same as in the previous year —we’ll accept photos of work at the site, email verification, or signatures with the names of your supervisors. Students who complete 100 or more hours of Christian service by the end of Quarter 3 will receive a Christian Service Award. Extra hours do not carry forward.
